Compliments of Maroone Chevy...

Well, as you all know, the stock wheels tend to chip easily. I finally decided to take them in and warranty them out. When they mentioned these, I was like...Sure All in all, they cost me nothing, but I did have to drop the $800 in tires while they were going to be off anyway. These are the GM upgraded wheels wrapped in Eagle F1 GS-D3s.

So, what are the thoughts. I have my likes and dislikes, but I won't influence your initial thoughts. Don't forget, they were FREEBIES!

should of gotten picks of the SSR. But those rims look nice on the cobalt considering u got them for free. You can probably even sell them for all they are worth and get a nice set of aftermarket wheels.

Yeah pretty much. I had already had one of them replaced previous to this visit so they knew the next set of the same rims would chip over time. GM actually saved some money by giving me these. At least in terms of future costs.

I've seen those wheels online, but was never in love with them. I have to say they look soooooo much better than the stock wheels.

They look nice on a black car. Don't like them too much on most other colors that I have seen. Nice job on the free upgrade. Should have tried to keep you old wheels too.

Wasn't possible in any way. That's like blowing your motor, having it warrantied and asking to keep all of the old components. I wonder what they would have said to me if I would have asked. hehe

Hey, I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but simply say. "Sh*t Happens." Follow me?

It might have been possible. I don't think GM would pay for aftermarket GMPP wheels to replace stockers under warranty, most likely it was just a dealer goodwill, meaning that they will get to keep your old rims. I used to work in the service department, I've seen weirder **** happen.

That may have been possible in another siutation, but he was actually on the phone with GM trying to get an approval for this swap. He called me back the next day and said they approved the warranty claim.

You have to represent your sources. I do a vast majority of my posting / searching on that forum. I come here for cobalt-related material, but also to see whats new. Let's just say that forum is very informative and fun.

ItalianJoe is right too, I do wish I was and ION.
