Cobalt SS/SC Compliments

When I had my Redline, I would get questions or compliments on it every once in a while in traffic or in parking lots. But since I got my SS/SC I am always getting compliments on it. I am surprised by some of the older guys that ask me about it, I mean 55-60 year olds. Have gotten a lot of compliments and quite a few inquiries about what kind of engine it has and if its quick. That is all. Carry on.

Im also surprised by the number of compliments from the senior crowd, these guys are familiar with the muscle cars of yesterday,so I consider it a bigger compliment comming from them then say someone of my age

All i get is "How fast does that go" or "How much HP do you have." Basically waste of my time questions.

People are very interested.

the best compliment/question i've ever gotten was "Is that the Impala!?" from a 50-60 year old guy in a subway

other than that people ask to look inside the car/is it quick all the time

oo and girls love it : )

I always get the question "How fast is it?"

My response "She'll go."

chicks love it, at school there were always chicks wanting a ride. also myself and black06ss are starting to draw a good number of people over to our cars at the track and getting alot of surprised older racers.

side note: two morons at the chevy dealer today saw the yellow ss/sc i was checking out and said "its just the same thing as a neon isnt it" i got kinda mad and defended the balt

Here is a testimonial for how awesome the cobalt ss/sc is. I pulled up to a nice porche carrera, admired it for awhile, went into the store, came back, and the owner of the carrera was admiring my car. She said, "That is a beautiful car!" and i said "Right backatcha." And then we pulled on the freeway together, pulled up together, she honked her car three times and we went off from 40mph, I go up to 4th gear, i am going around 80mph and she is at least three carlengths behind me. I let off and she zooms right past me. So i figured the race was not done yet, so i hammered it, put it into 5th and caught up to her around 120mph. We were right beside eachother, until i pulled away around 160mph. Never saw her again! Now that you have gotten this far, everything after her admiring my car is a complete lie. i hope you enjoyed the story, and peace out!

I love getting props from people...its great to hear that people love our cars as much as we do. Just yesterday I got a prop from this black dude in an Evo @ the gas station. Kinda funny actually. I pull in, as soon as i get out he tips his sunglasses down to look at my car lol.

I was also surprised by all the compliments I get on the car. When I told some of my coworkers I was getting a Cobalt they were not impressed and tried to talk me out of it. Saying it was just a new cavilier. But when I brought the new car to work, everyone loves it. They cant believe how nice it is, in and out

I have a lot of people commenting on the interior. They can believe a cobalt is so nice inside.

Ditto here!!
Getting compliments here left right and center. Many people know what the new Cobalt looks like but the SS S/C, they have no idea!!
I'm lovin' it

Side note: I'm back on this board finally. I moved up north and I just got the internet!

It is great to have an admired car as I go to a couple local car shows weekly & I have a copy of my Dyno in a plastic sheet that I put under the whindsield wiper with the hood open & I get alot of people asking how much I paid & how fast it is The one I hate always come from the Girls ---- It's Cute ----

Bob & I always frequent Porkys I'm in my Cobalt & he's ether driving his Cobalt or his Z28.

I always point to the Cobaltss.net sticker on the windshield & say check us out!!

Yea, I've been getting alot of props too as of late. Most recent was at Wal*mart. I was in dire need of a tire rotation and the dealer wanted $20 for a rotation (yes, that's not a lot I KNOW) but my friend who was with my said Wal*mart charges $1.50/wheel. So for a savings of near $15 I did it. Man, all the techs there were nuts over it. Guess they don't see much for nice cars. Did a great job tho (in all catagories cause a rotation IS hard to mess up).
