I dont remember what temp I did it on... but after baking, just peel them apart (mind the plastic clips).. I didn't prime or anything, I just got some krylon for plastic satin black, sprayed them with 4 coats, let them dry for a while, put them back in the oven, and mushed them back together

Fusion is good stuff. I would try and find some plastic primer also. You could also rough them up a bit with a red scotch pad. It Is not that bad a lot of us have done it just take your time.

I do mine at 200F for 15-20 min. Some people use higher heat and less time but thats scares me when it comes to plastic lol

I would highly recommend scuffing them up with a scotch pad and sandpaper. Make sure you clean all the dust off. Give it a good cost of primer. Then of course the color. T really doesn't matter how many coats you use as long as you get everything covered. Use thin even coats. Give it some time to dry between coats

600 grit then wash and dry very good. bake on 225 for 10 mins i believe and pull apart. i wouldnt use primer because it doesnt hold up great to the heat. use high heat paint like engine enamel and then to seal them up i went around the lights with clear water resistant silicone. works good

Thought I'd just post in here rather than start another thread. I'm also going to be doing my headlights, and I'm going to colour match them when I get my SS bumper painted. Will the normal paint hold up ok? Is there anything I need to do differently so they don't flake?

The only reason Ididnt sand is because the paints really not going to be seeing any abuse.. it'll get sealed up behind a lense and not touched, so I wasn't really too worried about it scuffing off.

I did use alcohol to degrease or whatever
