Was a Good sunday til....
I'd call the cops. Period. You nor your insurance should have to pay because your ******* neighbors make ******* decisions.
Who doesn't? I started driving around on private property at 12, at 15 I'd move cars around at the house, just from the front street to either the garage or back parking space. IMO it's more a matter of who the **** lets their kid, regardless of age, do ANYTHING behind the wheel of a car if they're not sure whether or not they can handle it.
That. That's also why I'd call the cops. I know most places if you get caught as a minor driving without a license, you can't even get a permit until 18.

Man, I hope they do. It's kind of a toss-up. Typically insurance covers the CAR and not the driver, but if they let an unlicensed person knowingly behind the wheel.....tough call. What they may do is cover this accident and then drop the whole family. With that much damage, don't accept any offer they make about just paying cash for the damage. My dad learned that the hard way. A 17 year old kid was driving drunk and plowed into my dad's Blazer. Turned out his parents were good friends of my dad's family, so they worked out a deal where they'd pay my dad back over time for the damage so that the kid wouldn't get into trouble. He had to fight them for money and when there were problems that needed re-fixed afterwards, he had to eat the cost whereas most insurance companies will guarantee the work gets done right.
