They look kinda funky, the second pic looks like tape is holding them down or something. Maybe they are too small for the overall look of the SS.

I like them. you need to get them fastened better but they look good almost like the begining of some stripes so i fyou take some vynle strips and run the the rest of the way down the car it may look pretty good.

They seem out of place. I'm sorry, it's only my opinion. Plus how are they functional, do you have a modified airbox?

They are 2 sided taped on for the week.. i have some pro bond to make them stay put. i have to continue to move a little more of the drivers side one around and so i didnt want ot permanetly put them down until they were perfect!

as far as functional yes i cut holes under the hood where they mount you would have to know what a GTP is in order to know the style. Thats why they are double sided down for a couple more days cause i am still filing the hood to get them PERFECT then ill finish em up and clear them

I think it is very nice to try something new and oringinal. Good idea. They would look alot better if they were a little larger. I think the Camaro scoops on the third gens would look very cool. The luver hood parts or the ones on the 25th annivers.

Just because you have holes in your hood doesn't mean those are functional, for all you know you could be making your car run hotter.

ya im almost positve its not hurting the car man, any extra air being put on the engine will be good.

My thoughts also. Couldn't it also affect the aerodynamics of the car? Holes in the hood with no airbox or intercooler to flow into would negatively affect this, right?

That is not always true. It could be pushing hot air into the intake and making cold air just past down one side of the motor. Unless it is tested you never know.

Eh, technically he could be causing an aero drag situation with excess air hitting the firewall in effect "slowing" the car, but you wouldnt notice this until at least 130 or 140. Could also shot air underneath the car and make if "pick up" but these probly are not occuring
