Here is a link to some 60mm LED rings, they should work if you can water proof them.

Buy LED strips and cut them to fit, or make them yourself.

i did a 3" diameter ring so i used an object that was a 2 1/2 " diameter so that when you wrap it around it is 3"

... Try that one again. Punctuations are your friends.

I think I get what you're saying, but please try to break that down further.

For the ring i used a mini blind replacement wand. the wand is 1/4" diameter. the size of the fog light tole is 3 ". so i bent the wand around An object that was 2 1/2" in diameter. that made the ring 3'' in diameter

replacement wand (clear) -homedepot
led color of your choice (3mm th others are too big for the 1/4 " wand)-radioshack
220 ohms resistor -radioshack
dremmal tool
oven
electrical tape
depending on the side of replacement wand 1/2 " or 1/4 " yo will need to find an object that will make a 3 " ring. so if you use the 1/4" wand you will need an object with a diameter of 2 1/2". if you use the 1/2" wand you will need and object with a diameter of 2 ".

i believe that's it
