Exclamation Halo Projectors !READ!

Do NOT place anything over your headlamps while they are on, I put my shirt over one so I could adjust the beam on the other headlamp and the highbeam melted the clear plastic bad. It almost looks like somebody took a lighter to it for a while. Anyways onto the pics...

They do put off a lot of heat, and normally they wouldn't melt. However the t-shirt caused heat build up and melted the casing. I'm looking into getting a replacement now.

This is actually what happened to me! I had put my shirt over one of them to aim the other, when I took it off I found that same nice little present! Needless to say I just told the distributor that it melted by itself and replaced it under warranty, too bad with customs and shipping i should have just bought another ******* set!

Mines have been fine, and I have had them in for about 2 Months.

Wondering though, why didn't you just unplug the one you didn't need, while aiming the one you did?

Cause throwing a shirt over it was easier

it shouldnt be nessesary to unplug them, they should not melt because a damn shirt was thrown over them, lol.

this is the very reason i painted my lights rather than spending all that money on these projectors.
