Halo Projectors W/ HID?

I got the new black halo projectors and i must admit they are a delight! I was just wondering if anyone out there has put or tested a HID kit in them. The manufacturer suggests not to put them in, i think due to lack of testing. I saw some other threads on HIDS but figured i would start a new one. Let me know!

just make sure you figure out what code for the bulbs are in the projectors since the HID for cobalts wont fit in there, you have to get the HID bulbs for the lights that come in the projectors

the porjecters use a 9006/9005 bulbs.

i can stick one of my HIDs in the projecter and it will fit.....the differant code for the bulbs have nothing to do with the fact that they use the same type of base so they'll fit them. i just wont have a set to test in the HI-beam.

The H1 bulb is only about 20% of the size of the stock 9007 bulb so the projectors will probably not project the light that you're used to with stock headlights......I can't think of a better reason to get some HIDs!!

Im thinking black projectors with H1 HID 8000K and Luminics pure blue for the fogs, that should look pretty bad ass.

why do you think the manufacturer of these headlight housings says not to use HID with them?
