Halos + HID = What about the Fogs?

Ok well my Halo's are going to be shipped on Monday and I ordered my HID 8K's from UNEEK. Question is anyone else with this kinda setup what are you doing with your fog lights?

-Getting HID's for them ?
-Leaving in halogen (changing to silverstar ultra) ?
-Not using them?

let me know what you would do !!!!!!

I agree. HID everything if you are going that route.

to be honest once you get projectors and HIDs your fogs are all but useless for actual lighting

the HIDS are so bright and shine right close to the car too....that you wont notice even when you turn your fogs off and on.

If anything maybe get some better halogens but dont waste 200 on HIDs that will only be for the look of the bulb. because they wont help lighting.

Thats what i was thinking too. I seen the video of someone aiming the headlights or something " Fogs, high beam, and then the HIDs " and wow the light is so different and bright, the fogs was no comparison. I was thinking of getting the silverstars and putting them in just more or less for looks.

thats was me in that vid
and yes fogs and highbeams look like an old dirty oil lamp beside HIDS.

your not going to improve your lighting performance by using HIDS in fogs. so just get some nice halogens so they dont look so yellow.

lots cheaper too.

anomalous have you changed out your fogs out ? I like silverstar's always have and the light is nice and clear nothing like HID but clear none the less. Get rid of the yellow tint in the light.

HID fogs are a waste. I just put in a set of HID look-a-like bulbs in there and it looks nice.

I have 8000k HIDs in my projectors. I have some aftermarket halogens in the fogs for now. I might go HID in them after I get all of my other mods done. Too much to do to spend another $200 on fog lights.

I have heard that HID lights don't fit in the fog projectors. Can someone confirm that?

BTW, there are much cheaper kits out there then the ones you've been buying. 120 HID kits with a 3 year warranty off eBay.

I've got nokya 7k halogens. They don't even look blue anymore. When I had silverstar halogens in the hadlight they made the nokyas look really blue. with the hid's in the nokyas looks white.
