Headlamps

I'm sick of the dim bulbs they got in these cars. Can't see anything in ditches for deer, etc. Are there any better bulbs out there for the Cobalt? I don't want to get a whole new headlight - maybe down the road, but not now. Thanks!

for the cost of silverstars you can just get a nice hid kit for a little more... not even a comparision in person

the silverstars have melted the plastic, but hids, like stated, run cooler, but cost about the same or a bit less than a new headlight

What warranty are you worried about your headlights are definately not going to melt as has been stated. I have a 5000K 50W kit fo both my headlights and fogs form 3bspec and it is at least three times brighter than stock. Get HIDs you will love them.

if you want to buy just bulbs look into luminics KYRPTON titanium whites. They look amazing and have a great ouput for a regular bulb. They also look different colors at different angles. 60 bucks

HID's. I don't want to hear that BS about HIDs in the reflector housings either... trucks with stock halogens are brighter and more blinding than a little car with an HID bulb in it's headlamp.

Thanks guys. I'll look into the HIDs. My mom's Acadia has them, and they're super bright. I know exactly what you guys mean. I didn't want to have to modify my headlamp wiring is all, but if the silverstars do have a chance of melting, I'd rather not risk it.

x2 on the Acadia, Enclave's are the same I'd imagine and they are super sexy; my neighbour has one and we always seem to be pulling out at the same time.

I got these a wile ago around $300 for Projectors + install then HID kit I bought for $100 now you can get for like $70 on eBay and I payed $90 for install but I had them do everything!! (Solider wires then weather proof the wires for the whole hid kit and lights.) so I pay around $500.

The projectors I got and the hid kit both came from eBay.
