Headlight bulb question
Hey guys,
I bought those HID lookalike bulbs until i get a real kit for the car. I used to own a ford focus before and bought the same exact kind that i always did for the focus. I never had a problem on the ford, they were H4 55-60w. Now the Cobalt takes 9007 bulbs. The ones i bought are 9007 but the power is 80/100w. My question would be if the stock headlight harness can take the 80/100w bulb? If it will fry it i dont want to use it. I put them in already and let it on for about 10 minutes, and apart form the headlight housing being warm which is normal, the wires themselves werent at all hot. What do you guys think, can it take the 80/100w setup?
Thanks,
Stefan.
