Headlight fitment problem, HELP!

K so last month I recieved a set of Depo headlights from ModernPerformance
Link Here

I have tried to install them into my cobalt and the do not mount properly and theres a huge gap in the corner where they meet the fender and bumper. Also a huge amount of force is needed to even install the two mounting bolts and when i had the bolts it there they dont aim straight, the both aim the light together dead center of the car about 2 cars lengths ahead. I dont know if its the two mounting things on the bottom of the light that arent measured properly and making the problem or if they are just **** headlights, but when i go back and put my factory ones on the car, they fit perfectly.

If someone has any idea what i can do to fix this problem so i can have them sitting properly on my car, id be happy as f***!!!

They should fit fine. You just have to play around with them for a little while. Make sure you get the tabs to line up. I believe they slide in a little groove. Just be patient and don't force it to much because you will break the tabs off.

Ive tried aligning the tabs to the grooves, and still no luck. I truely do think the tabs are the reason, because placing the stockers to the Depo lights the tabs on them seem bigger then they're supposed to be. But I am not 100% on that and dont want to modify them if they arent the problem.

And they really do look good on our black cars! Even better on the SS though lol.. want to get the ss bumper, but its nearly impossible to find an ss with the black granite (sparkly) paint.

you have to keep messing around and make sure the tabs line up. dont be afraid to push them to get them
in the groove of the headlight bracket. also maby try to adjust the metal bracket when you take the plastic headlight bracket out. you may have to move it foward so it lines up

Just try putting the lights in at different angles. You will figure it out eventually lol.

Found the problem, its the front bumper beam mount that needs to be adjusted to lower the bumper out of the way. This will be a fun time fixing or having chevy fix it!

Gotta replace the headlights to bring it back tho otherwise theyll b**ch like normal lol
