headlight harness jack'd up...help

OK so here we go. i have tried to fix this and tried and nothings working and im getting frustrated. my headlight harness is corroded with blue and white gunk and when i put a test light on it only the two female pins on the end have power and the rest down so im hoping like hell i can just get that stuff out and it will be fine...

anyone know how to get rid of it and what causes it?

Yeah your either going to have to replace the harness or cut the effected wires and use single waterproof male/female connections. But finding a stock harness is a b*tch

Must be nice, I had just went over my mileage cap for bumper to bumper coverage about a month before I found out that happened to my harness lol
