Headlight Options

Should I sell my stock housings with Silverstar Ultras and keep my new 1st generation projectors with 6000k HID or keep the stock housings and sell the projectors?

6000k HID projectors

I also love my HIDs but I don't know if it's worth seeing the housings fog up and the HIDs not aimed correctly. I need someone to help me aim these bitches.

07 SS/SC vote sell projectors because he can't aim his either.

I feel you dude.

There is a howto for aiming, and as for the fogging, that can be corrected with an oven and a fresh bead of AVS

Wow. Two already to sell projectors.

What's AVS? Any particular material for sealing the headlights?

Oh god. HAHA I knew I'd be faced with this. I know someone wants to buy the stock headlights with the Silverstar Ultras for 175. I paid 298 for the projectors.

I'm sure that I'd love my projectors even more if they were aimed correctly.

Bumpity bump...

They're a bitch to aim, I'm just hoping that I'll come across someone who can help me aim these. It was raining when I went to class today and when I came out, my headlights were fogged up on the inside. It ******* sucks how horribly designed these are. I don't know if I can give up the looks on these projectors. Someone asked what kind of car it was because they had never seen such "sexy" lights. I was thinking to myself, "If only you were behind the drivers seat and had to view these lights."

haha I got alot of looks in the 3 days I had them but I never did have a problem or disliking towards the stock headlights. I just really wanted to go back to the stockers. I dont think I will ever try to do a headlight swap on my cobalt again unless it is for some color matched stockers. I wish you the best of luck in aiming the lights, I got mine aimed pretty good but I still was just tired of all the little things I had to mess with.

I understand, these babies do look good. Sets them apart from the other crowd. The stockers aren't bad looking either, I just like the HID look too much.

I can get 175 for them. I bought the car back in November and I paid 50 for the Silverstar Ultras.
