Headlights

What do you guys think are the best bulbs? I want to get new bulbs to put in my 3rd gen headlights. In my signature you can see my car pretty easily. It would also be extremely helpful if you guys posted pics of a car with that bulb. I am looking towards a diamond white color but I want to see what you guys think.

Definitely going to keep my projectors. I have to get a new led and a new Halo on my passenger low beam...So when i do i plan to just go ahead and grab some 6k HIDs with fogs. Also i have to get that side headlight resealed. I just had to have water start to come in there to f up my bulbs

Morimoto 5000k h1 kit. Best aftermarket bulbs out there. Or get Phillips 85122 H1 bulbs. These are 4300k and the BEST quality you can get. Expensive though, $85 for a set of the phillips bulbs without ballasts or relay wiring. Get hids either way. 5000k is pure white, 6000k will have a little blue. I honestly think the off white color of 4300k oem hid colored bulbs would look good. A friend of mine has 5000k on his SOM Balt and it looks great.

Honestly, to me there isn't that much of a difference of the 4000s to 6000s just the tinyest bit of blue tint. Is there a difference of pricing between them?

No different color temps will be the same price as long as they're all from the same place, not counting OEM brand bulbs. However, you do lose brightness as you go above 4300k.

Oh its not even close. I've got a pic with my 8000k fogs and my 6000k low beams showing the brightness of the light on the ground, you'd be surprised at the difference.

This is one of my favorite pics btw.

I wish mine were, they would match better. They don't match as well in person. I'm getting a new set of 5000k colored ones when I do my retros.

DDM is fine for fogs, I think it's like $45 for an hid kit and relay harness. Word of advice though, don't use DDMs H1 bulbs for your 3rd gens. I tried to use them when installing my old 3rd gens in a friends balt, and the bulbs did not fit, the glass case around the bulb was too big. We had to file it down a lot. My old H1 bulbs from 3bspec fit perfectly without filing. I've had my 8000k DDM fogs for a year now with 0 problems. Make sure you get a relay harness for both your fogs and your low beams, they eliminate a lot of issues.

I can't find a good website to get Hids from 3bspec. Do they not have a website for their brand? I am most likely doing something wrong haha
