**These headlights came with smaller black box's to avoid over or under powering the halo/eyebrows, (Which usually caused them to burn out so quickly!) Currently have withstood -40*C and +32*C in working order!!**

 

So the halos should last awhile and these are DOT Approved? Cause the inspection stations here suck about aftermarket stuff.

 

i have the same ones. very good. no problems and its been almost two years. had em when they first came out

 

still no answer on the DOT of them?

 

They are DOT stamped.

i got them on mine top eybrow is out on both, but i gotz eyelids on so no harm no foul

 

Your car would deff look good with some black housing headlights. I got the same color combo (red/blk) going on and the headlights are going to be the next thing I try and buy.

 

I have the Gen 2's and i did have issues with the halos going out, i think due to water damage.
Took 'em out for a couple months and just put them back in for a meet the other day, damn halos work again
