does anyone else have a heat shield rattle after istalling an exhaust system? I just put on my megan cat-back and zzp midlength combo and the heat shield above the resonator is rattling. I tried moving around yet it still rattles. Does anybody know how to fix this??

 

I had the exact setup and problem on my old car. Drove me nuts.

Don't even get me started! I put on a magnaflow cat-back and it rattles when i first start up and it drives me insane. But, like Mindrot said, after it gets warmed up the rattle pretty much goes away. So idk, i just tolerate it best i can lol

 

did you try and pry it up off the piping?

 

i thought about doing that and putting some header wrap on it, might work

strange. mine does it all the time. usually louder after i've been driving for a while

i bent it and as far as i can see it isnt touching anywhere
