Lay it on heavy, that way it will peel off easy if you decide to take it off later. Plan for about a can per wheel

do it thick thats the biggest mistake everybody always makes. the thicker the better when it comes to plasti dip. now everybody is saying use the glossifier. me personally i have tried it and absolutely hated it!! so i have used regular Krylon clear coat. it really gives it a nice shine and they are super and i mean super easy to clean!! never had any issues with me clear coating my old tc wheels when they were dipped black and i peeled the dip off with the clear coat on them in about 10 minutes a wheel if that. but thats my opinion so im sure ill get some hate lol

10 min a rim sorry, i laid down thick coat of plasti dip to where i knew it would come off nice and then instead of glossifier i used clear coat in an aersol can i even used the dupli color clear coat on my evo mod and i just re did it this spring after 4 years of being on the lip and peeled off normal lol. the wheels were the same way it peeled off as if it was just plasti dip.

^^ awesome to know. can you reference the exact can of clear you used?
I heard if not dip clear/gloss, your chances of peeling are slim to none.

ive done my evo mod and wheels a couple times until i bought my set i have now. ive actually done my trim pieces as well with adding clear coat on top. just make sure the dip is thick that way if you have to take it off youll still be good to go lol. ive used the krylon spray clear, the dupli color, and the best one ive used so far is the Valspar Clear Coat sold at lowes. you only need about 2 coats and youll see it become nice and shiny, but if you want to add more, then go for it. ive had no issues what so ever with putting clear coat on top of plasti dip at all. make sure to get the gloss clear lol

glossifier is not a can per wheel.
the actual dip is 1 can per wheel
with 2 cans you got enough for 4 wheels. half a can each.

3 to 4 cans for the color and 1 for a solid coat or two of gloss should do it

consensus is 1 whole can per wheel. half a can for glossifer.

so roughly 4 colored cans and 2 glossifiers.

they go quick when you actually spray them correctly
