help-front bowtie

how in the world does this thing come off?? i can see the screws when i look through the hole where the hood latches but i can't seem to get a grip on anything. i've been out there attacking my car with needle-nosed pliers [the smallest tool i could find to fit in there] so i thought i would take a break and see if there was an easier/another way to do it

well, the paint finally dried so i put the bowtie back on this morning. i was running a bit late for work so i didn't have time to clean the car up for pics but here's one anyway...

everyone seems to like it so far

and if it isn't too cold, i plan on putting the new rear bowtie on there tomorrow.
