Help me pick a shade of silver
40K mostly highway miles have not been kind to my car . Constantly driving behind and around semi's has taken its toll on the front end and a few small chips elsewhere from stones . Since Silver is so hard to blend , Im gonna just gonna bite the bullet repaint over the winter . Im staying Silver , but I want to turn it up a few notches . Porshe bright Silver and BMW silver are possiblities . But , wanted to see if anyone else knew of some really vibrant silvers to check out . I havent looked into any dupont or PPG shades yet , I plan on doing that as well . If you have a pic of the silver your recommending on a car , please post .
I have also thought about a Ice Blue dupont color . The name is misleading . Its a tri-coat mild color changing . Looks like Vette machine silver in bright sunlight , but on the shaded areas it has a very slight bluegrey'ish cast . Not sure how a color like that would look on a Cobalt though , it did look incredible on the 95 trans am I saw it on though .
