Exclamation Help!! taking apart SS spoiler

I'm buying endplates that cover the screws on the High rise spoiler from NightHawk..and we need to know the best way to seperate the plates without scratching the paint..I know they're only stuck on their by an adhesive

tie the wing to a tree and floor it

it's how I did mine that's why I got a cf trunk now

Heat gun/hair dryer. It softens up the double sided tape and the caps should come right off.

While this is how you properly remove the spoiler, it does not solve the end cap problem.
