Yes 3k is the fogs. It would be the most functional set up too as the yellow cuts through fog the best. And 6k is white with a bit of blue. I wish I had a pic of mine to show you. I went 6k/6k and love it.

And as far as looks I think it would look good, and function awesome.

Technically 4300K is the main OEM color temp. I use 5000K and they're pretty much as white as it gets, with 6000K starting to have a blue tint and 8000K is more blue than white. Of course if you buy cheap kits the colors will probably be off a bit.

30k is the same light output as stock, they were far from blinding Any HID in the stock housing headlights is going to blind people though.

If you get 55 watt ballast then the 8k look fine. That's what I have in my gen1's and they don't look bad at all.

I think anything over 6K is ricer. No need to have blue/purple/pink headlights, looks stupid to me.

I have 6k fogs and 6k headlights.

agreed. but 30k is an exception.

id say go 5k fogs, and 6k headlights

or 4.3k. 4.3 still looks a lil dull then 5k.

3k imo is what hondas put on there car...

3k might not look bad, but i would never, its tooo rice. got ruined by all the hondas.....

every now and again i see a nice lexus, or bmw with yellow fogs, and im like damn... those are sexy as ****.

its up to you dude...... hopefully you can rock it!

Here is a comparison of Halogen vs 6K in my 3rd gen's. Hope this helps. Pics are in my garage cuz it's freaking cold out in MI right now. I personally like the 6k as they are bright and almost like the sky when the sun is out.

That's only because the higher wattage washes out the color making the 8000K look more like 6000K.
