Is there something about these guys that makse them different compared to the 200 resellers that are cheaper on ebay?

It looks like there's about three different types of starters/ballasts with tww or three types of bulbs, some coming out of Korea, Japan, and China.

There are kits with their same bulbs as pictured and ballast for $60-70 cheaper.

Good question.

The main difference is in the output. Most bulbs that you'll find on Ebay give a shotgun burst of light, whereas anything that is of reasonable quality should maintain a focused path of light.

The other difference is in the service. Most of these sellers on Ebay are fly-by-night operations that wont be around in 6-12 months when problems may start to occur with your kit.

We have been around for many years, and you can rest assured that we'll be around if you ever need us.

Hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions or concerns.

Thanks again

So whats the average normal operating temperature of say the 6K bulbs?
I have alot of experience with large HID lighting (back when I was doing electrical, wiring up warehouses for a while), and those suckers can get pretty hot, especially high up in the rafters...
...if the bulbs got over 200* I would be worried about the light housing coming apart...thanks for the help.

interested w/ questions

yes, the actual temperature of the bulbs and housing coming apart is a good question as I know little about lighting.

I want to know more about the ballast hook up (how do you install?direct from battery w/ inline fuse or from fuse box), will these operate off the factory light switch? and w/ the auto lights feature?, and the power consumption..... do these put a heavy drain on the battery/alternator?

I had some kick butt HELLAS years back on my M6 and was promised from the salesman there wouldn't be any problem.... I blew fuses left and right and could only use the high beams for 30 second bursts.... just to explain my concern!

thank you...
