Where should I get a set of hid headlight. Looking at the 3rd gens. Now sure if I should get this kit:

because it looks like it just comes with the headlight and nothing else.

Or should I buy a kit like this from ebay:

I want to make sure I have the relay harness and the ballast.

Let me know what you guys think? I want this to be my first mod. Had my car for a year, but since I had to finish up my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry then I lost track of plans to mod. Fortunately, making some extra spending money after meeting my goals for saving money. I LOVE MY COBALT SS/SC...the dealer wants to buy it back and sell me a 2010 ss/tc...NOPE!

I think you should get gen 4 projectors

 

Keep your original headlights for when the lens decides to start cracking. Swap the lens on the aftermarkets with the originals...

Id rather pay the extra $20 like I did rather then waiting a month, my buddy ordered his back in April. And im completely satisfied with mine.

 

I've never had to wait more than a week.

I bought an HID kit for my fogs through BuyHids, they look great and work perfect! No flickering at all and a great price to!

 

I ordered 2 pairs of hids from ddmtuning over a week ago, 10000k h1 for my low beam projectors in gen 3's and 10000k h11 for my fogs. still have to wait another 2 weeks probably. i'm going to do the high beams as well and buyhids.com you will definately see my business for them!
