HID Info

Hey guys and gals i am looking to buy hids for my highbeams and i was wondering if anyone knew the size you need and good place to get them from. It is a 2008 cobalt ls stock headlights

9007 is the bulb size. And I got mine from BuyHids.com and couldn't be happier. Make sure you get a relay Harness to.

You'll need to get a bixenon hid kit. it'll give you both hid low and high beams.

ok thank you both of you....i wanted to put a different color highbeam that the low beam...i already have hids in the lowbeam and wanted to put them in my highbeams but like i said using a different color

You cant get different colors with the stock headlights. If you get some Halo projectors you can do that. Those would require two HID kits so you would be able to interchange colors.

Ya you can't do that with the stock headlights. You could if you got a set of aftermarket projectors though, they use a separate bulb for low and high beams.

You said you already had hids in your low beams, wouldn't you just need new bi-xenon hid lights, minus the ballasts and such? Or do bi-xenon kits have different ballasts compared to single kits

Yea my buddy has a kit from them and seems to have no problems. It just took like two months for him to get them because they were on back order.

alot of people cant resist a great price like this for a great product when they see it. i jumped on it three years ago when the craze with ddm first hit and i had my kit in 3 days if i remember correctly

Yea true, I just like to support the vendors. And ive done alot with BuyHIDs. There both good companies.

lol yes you guys timed in at the same moment=...but ya im not a fan to much of the halos had them before and just dont care for them anymore..but i appricate the help imm look at the sites u guys recommended and get myself one of those bi sets and see how they work
