HID Kit help!!

My kit from hidcanada.com just arrived, and I took it to a buddy of mine to install it for me..basically he said he didn't feel comfortable installing it because something about the bulb not fitting or something so I was wondering if you pros could help me out

I have a 2006 Cobalt SS n/a 2.4L all stock and the kit i ordered was a 35w 9007 bi-xenon HID KIT it included two ballasts, two 9007 bulbs and a relay wiring harness

Now my question is did I order the wrong kit? From what I understand the 9007 bulb should replace the stock cobalt bulb? (which is 9007 also for hi/low beems) .. or does everything seem o.k just need someone else to install it for me?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Sometimes the bulb is slightly too large for the hole in the back of the light. If that's the problem, use a dremel to trim the hid bulb housing until it fits.

Great thank you
Other than that it seems to be the appropriate kit for the car?

you're fine.

just find a way to get the bulb to fit in the stock housing and you'll be set.

there is 3 notchs on the bulb, 2 small ones and a large one make sure u line those up into the housing and twist, some of them have adaptor plates for 9007/9006 applications as well
