HID kits from vendor 'operatic' (3bspec.com)

From: 3bspec.com

Hey guys, has anyone installed their kits from the vendor on there 'operatic'?

How do you like them? Any problems? Pictures?

I'm thinking of ordering a 50w 6000K H11 kit for my fogs, to compliment my lowbeam silverstars.

Where did you guys mount the ballasts for the fogs?

---EDIT---

Well I just ordered a set. 50w 6000K H11 kit

I'll post up some pics when I get it installed

The main difference is brightness.

35w ballasts have been used forever, so it's probably the most common. 50w are relatively new.

The harness this kit has IS a relay harness, so there will be much LESS load on the OEM harness then with regular halogen bulbs.

Where did you mount the ballasts for the fogs?
Also do i have to remove the airbox on the passenger side (and both headlights) to get at the fog lens? Or can I get at the fogs from underneath?

Yes I have. I mounted them below the headlight. When you take out the headlight and then take off that plastic piece, there is a spot for the ballast that is perfect.

As for the fog lights, I was able to just roll the car up on ramps and get it from underneath

These kits are real nice. I have two of his kits in my car and they work awesome. I mounted my ballasts under the headlight buckets. Also, i was able to reach my fog light bulbs with the headlights and headlight brackets removed. Otherwise you will have to get under the car and remove a splash panel to get the bulbs out. I also live real close to the vendor. He has been nothing but incredible as far as customer service goes.

Take out the 4 screws then take off the black plastic head light bracket & mount them underneath it like you see in the pic
Those are my head light and fog light ballasts.

Just feed the wires through where you think it will all work out for you. Also, I didn't drill holes into my car to mount them, I used industrial strength adhesive velcro & it hasn't failed me yet after months of use! lol.
