HID look with halogen lights

How can I get the blue HID look from my headlights using reg. lights that will last for a while? I've purchased a couple of sets on ebay, I liked the way they looked be they blew after only about a month or so.

Ebay lights suck IMO...go to
www.eurolite.com

You can see mine reflect in the stock housing in this pic.

I bought some off of ebay, I think the company was eurolite actually.... I can't remember. It was so logn ago, but I think it came to like $15-20 total after shipping and they have lasted me over a year so far, very nice color and brightness.

Make sure not to touch the bulb with your hand as the oils cause the bulb to mess up. That may be your problem? Although it would take shorter than a month.

If you get it off ebay always check the feedback and make sure it comes with a warranty and good customer service. I have gotten many good products off ebay, you just can't buy the cheapest or first one you see.

*edit- Also, it wont look exactly like HIDs, but it will look much better than stock.
