HID Problem

HID Problem
I have the BUYHID single xenon kit. I have the relay harness installed.
I have had this kit for 10 months with no major problems. Only real issue was when it was cold one light would need to be a little warm to light up.
ANYWAY,
My problem started middle last week. Passenger side HID would not turn on but the driver side would.
Came out to the car today and neither side would turn on. I tried turning lights on and off and about everything I could.
I also hit the high beams and the lights do come on so I know they have power and the wiring harness isn't burned up.
What is the problem here? Relay harness, ballasts, wiring harness, or bulbs? Once I have an idea of what to look for I will tear it down and search.
Not sure if it makes a difference but we have had a ton of rain recently but the car has only been parked mostly.

There's fuses for both the left and right low beam in the fuse box, check those first. More than likely either both bulbs or both ballasts blew. It seems like once one blows the other goes shortly after. Probably gonna need to buy a new kit, pretty much exactly this happened to my friends car a few weeks ago, both bulbs had blown, though he had only one out for about a week, then the second one blew

Check the Low Beam fuses
Check the harness fuse
Check your grounds
Check to make sure everything is still connected and there is no corrosion
Do you have HID fogs? if so you can try hooking the bulbs up to check if its the bulbs or ballasts
If you get one of them to work, switch the ballast from side to side to see if its the bulb or the ballast that has problems

That, and as mentioned the left and right low beam fuses in the fuse box. If those check out, then it's likely a ballast issue. Since I started using HIDs a few years ago, I've never had a bulb blow. I've upgraded a few times, but never due to a bulb blowing, it's always been the ballast that blows. If you have a multimeter handy, check to make sure the relay harness is providing power to each ballast when the lights are supposed to be on. Sometimes everything looks fine but something in the harness ***** up and the lights don't work. Corrosion usually plays a key factor here, and you can't always see it when it's there.

yes, you got cheap fuses to begin with.... this is bound to happen on all cheapo hid kits... go to auto store. pickup ato little fuse.. and some die electric grease.... apply and be happy
I forgot amp should be 10 or 20
if it happens again you got another problem.. grounding issue etc...

It blew as soon as i turned them on. Looks like I'll be tearing the setup apart and starting over. I can confirm the lights did come on though.
Should the power of the car be off when replacing the fuse. Just seems weird to hear it spark when I put it in.
I'm still thinking it's wiring.

Well I took the whole kit out. Put stock bulbs back in and I think I'm going to stay there.
It's not that I don't trust the kit I just don't have time to mess it for awhile.
I also may be putting the kit up for sale. I have always wanted to upgrade my entire headlight housing and lighting.
Probably have a for sale tomorrow or the day after.
