HID problem help!
i ran into a problem today while i was aiming my headlights the passenger side HID just went out, i tested everything; bulbs both work, fuses are fine, both ballast still work (buzzing) but the problem is one ballast (Drivers) reads 16000V [8.0 on 2000 scale of multimeter] while the other (passenger)reads 160,000V [80.0 on 2000 scale]. The passenger ballast has power comming in it and power going out, but the power going out does not ignite the headlights.
I have a 2006 cobalt so the DRL thing is not a problem
I figure its the ballast, but what are the likeihood of blowing the ballast the day after install? Maybe something else happened from all the wiggling during aiming?
Help please

^ yes i use a relay harness
and thanks guy this is a good "temperory" fix but is there any better way to keep them on all the time or do i just have to play High-low everytime?
is it safe to say the ballast is gay?

it just randomly happens, I dunno why, my passenger side one goes out like that usually once every 7-10 days, quick flick of the headlight stalk and all is good. It's a nuisance, but compared to the other things I get to deal with on my car, it's not a problem at all.
