update: the lack of light was due to a very slight "dark spot" in my beam pattern.

I diagnosed the problem finally when i gave my bulbs a tiny wiggle, and it went away.

While the visionbulbs kit is extremely projector friendly, and they do fit in there without modification, when the bulbs seat into their final spot the return lead tilts the bulb just slightly.

So after pulling them out and making a small channel in my projector housing for the return lead, the dark spot is gone, and the lighting is great

everything that I read says that it isnt healthy for the HID's to be turned on and off....as in when you unlock the car the lights come on.....is that a total crock seein how one finds themselves turning the low beams on and off when switching to high beams or do you have them wired so the lows are on constantly.....p.s. looks totally sick

I dont know if youve noticed...but your HIGH beams come on when you unlock the car....

The HID's are not wired permanantly on,

to be honest im not worried about the off/on thing very much.
HID bulbs outlast halogens by quite a margin....so if i wear them out slightly quicker due to switching to high beams....thats fine with me they will likely still outlast a pair of Silverstars anyway.

and yes. projectors, regardless of what bulbs you are using, are not an easy thing to aim.

well...that is, if you care about having a clean even beam pattern, and not blinding your fellow drivers.

hehe sry i didnt mean to sound snappy.

but yeah its very noticable with projectors since the highbeam and lowbeam are different bulbs altogether.

Wow, HIDs look really good, man.

Did everything come with the kit, like fuses, relays, wires, etc?
