HID Question

HID Question

Okay, so i am getting some HID's through my friend, they are 8000K And i was wondering it comes with the wiring and all the basics for it but with my cobalt will i need a new housing or anything? I have a 2006 cobalt LT

HID's in the stock reflective housings are fail. not only do u blind the **** out of oncoming traffic, you also dont get as much light output from the HID as opposed to it being in a projector housing. HID's are designed to be used in a projector, not reflector.

Ok thanks. One more question, i really like the 3rd gen halo headlights, do you know a site where you can get them, that YOU GUYS trust? buying **** online can be sketchy sometimes.

that aren't ridiculously expenisve.

ya you'll be just fine buying them on ebay. Just make sure the seller has good feedback rating and you'll be okay (98% or above)
