HID Questions

So I have been cruzing the forum looking at all I can find on HID conversions. I love the kit that Uneek is selling in the classified section HOWEVER I want to have high and low beams. I am not seeing anyone talking about a kit that has both beams. Can anyone make a suggestion of a HID conversion kit that would have these both....I also want it to be really easy plug and play so I can install and remove if I need to.

TIA

As far as I know there are very few kits that offer the high and low beam function. If you want a true high and low beam setups, your going to have to get a set of the projector housings and run 2 HID kits.

what have been everyones experiences with using the hid's and losing the high beams. Do you miss them ever or are the HID's bright enough that it is no matter?

Is anyone selling a setup like this? I know merc made his own, but i have yet to see any company actually selliing something like this. I'd be very interested if any vendor wants to step up and get something rolling on this.

What you have as a link there, is NOTHING like what I have made.

here are my HID low beam and hi beam. You won't get anything like what I did unless you retrofit... period.

I got back tracked on making that. I have most of it finished, I just want to make sure it is easy to follow before I post it.

Most kits just need 2 bulbs. Basically 2 bulbs = brighter then 1, so when you do high beam it will make it brighter and increase glare but make it brighter which is what high beams do. Merc is right it wont quite be what he has, but not everyone can retro fit, or want to take 3 full days of their life doing it. In that case you would want to look for a 2 bulb design I guess. IM sure they are out there, but what do you need High beams for?
