HID Wiring

I know how the directions in the kit tell you to wire your HIDs, but after looking at a Mazdaspeed 6 with factory HIDs I'm wondering if this is the best way. When the brights are lit on the Mazdaspeed 6 the HIDs don't turn off. This is because on an off activation can damage the ballasts, I was thinking that if you ran a relay to the parking lights and then powered them that way it would be better. Let me know what you all think.

Sounds like a good idea, as long as your powering them directly from the battery, otherwise, HID's + Brights pulling power on the stock wires would probably start some trouble

Yep, I was planning on running it from the battery, 90W of power consumption is a lot on the tiny 18 gauge wire they have on the stock harness.
