Well there is a guy on these forums named Uneek. he sells the HALO HID kit. 254 shipped. Great kit. I have them on my 06 SS I have the 6000K kit. My brother has the same kit on his 04 Redline but 8000K bulbs. I will see If I can take comparison pictures tonight of what the difference is, but it really makes your car stand out.

just a few moments ago I got back from my trip to KFC for lunch break and I get out of my car and walk into the building and a dude was like " wow you have do'es cadillac lights, they look good" I was like thanks.

They really do make your car stand out and makes things much more visable to boot.

HID's are definetly worth it! You'll be able to see the road better for night driving. I have an 8000k kit in my car with an 8000k fog light hid kit. I am a distributor of HID's and can get 5000k, 6500k, 8000k, and 10000k.

well you need to hook us up, Uneek needs a little competition. Make a post and tell us what we can get each kit shipped for. If you have sample pictures etc. the more the merrier. then people can PM if they are interested, and you can hammer out the transaction from there

Are these just the bulbs or what? If it is the whole headlight assembly, can you get clear corners or anyhting like that? Or are they just stock looking expect for at night?

hid's have a ballast to power the bulb. Just plug the factory light harness into the ballast, plug the bulb into the ballast. thats it. (the ballast gets it power from your headlight harness)The reason its brighter is because its an arc not a a coil filament. Its much more brighter(3x's)Your factory housing will work fine. you would need to buy a kit for 9007's for the cobalts

checkout www.xenonking.com for more info on installation and pricing. I bought my kit from there and I also have the 6000K kit, it seems to be enough blue and still be plenty bright. The higher the K the bluer and less light output.

Im definitely interested in getting these kits. I want atleast 6000K for the headlights and foglights. Whoever sells them (the two guys, uneek or whatever, and the dude with the other kits) let me know.

I took some pictures of me and my bro's HID's side by side yesterday. I didnt put them online yet, but I will do that as soon as I get home from work THere was a very small noticable difference in the 6000k and 8000k color's in our 2 kits. You can tell a small difference, but not by much. Also the cobalt's seemed to look much more professional and real. The ION redlines seemed to be over bright and off, and just didnt seem to light up the road the same.

IM amazed how well and good they look even without projectors. if you have 900+ dollars to spend on a projector kit be my guest, but just the kit for your stock headlight housing is way better then stock and about 70% cheaper :P

From everyones feedback , the Cobalt housings seems to be pretty HID friendly . This site isnt forgiving at all when something sucks And everyone on who has HID has sweared up and down the Cobalt housing arent producing any glare .

I'll find out for myself here in a couple days , my 8K Halo kit is in the mail .

Yes Yes Yes! As I mentioned above me and my brother have the same kit, and the Cobalts seem to be very professional. you can adjust their direction/hight, with a allen wrench, and they look so beautiful. They dont look like those civics that blind teh crap out of you.

Hence the dude that said "wow you got doe's cadillac lights der" Yes Sir!
