swift. taped it in place to mark the holes. Saw how close to the ground and flimsy it was. threw it in the trash.

My "HideAplate" is under the driver's seat. No front plate is a secondary offence in WA so its a whatever for me.

I bought the Show N Go hideaway license plate holder but I haven't put it on yet. My car came without a front plate ever put on it so I'm weary about drilling holes into it. Its on with zip-ties right now and I'm pretty content with it.

Front plate laws here are very policed.
I had it zip tied to my lower grill but I can only assume it's blocking air flow to my ic lol
I want to take off my lower grill this summer so that option is gone.
However I'll also be on coils this summer so I need one that wont snap off.

well lets see, they wanted to build the highest horsepower stock evo ( about 4 years ago ) and did this whole motor build, head build, stupid crazy, lots of time/money, and blew it due to an oil issue before it even made it out of the garage.

they didnt install the fuel lines correctly on my buddies wrx after some motor work and fuel leaked on the motor causing it to catch fire, luckily it was snowy out and he kept throwing snow on the motor and it didnt destroy the whole car.

did a head build on a friends del sol, which blew the next day.

not sure what they did but a vw gti caught fire at the shop there and he sued them, they recently sold the buisness, and opened up a new place called top speed labs in groton CT.

the owner matt swift is an arrogant *******.

Awsome, sounds like a legit place. I have a buddy up in NY who took his 240 to a place in CT for tuning and dyno runs. Might have to ask where he went.

So, I need to drill the holes and bolt it in to see that it sits too low and is crappy? Don't think so.

My time is worth something. Maybe yours isn't and if that is your situation then perhaps yes, it is stupid.
