Hids

I was going to grab some hids but where is the best place to buy them from?
Does buyhids.com have good quality of bulbs?

I've never bought anything from BuyHIDs but I'm sure they do. I'm also sure that you could find the same thing from somewhere else on the net. (Not trying to bash on BuyHIDs.) Just saying.

ddmtning.com x2! i have a 6kset from them, spectacular. recommended them to my friend and he is loving them too. im about to invest in a set for my gf car. its just as good quality as buyhids and they come with a lifetime warrenty on any kit to back it up for as long as you have them and plus they are cheaper than buyhids.com

DDM or 3B specialties.
I bought a set of 6K's from Buy Hids.com
Both of the ballasts i got from him cause the bulbs to flicker.

DDM seems to be a good choice to go with. who has past experience? like i said, I want the brightest pure white possible. it looks like 5000k is whitest based on the diagram but if i choose to go with 55watt instead of 35 it states that you should pick the next colour up. so maybe i would go with 6000k and 55watt. or is 35 good enough? Also, im new to this so im not sure if i need to select all options. should i say yes to the harness, the error eliminator and adaptor cables?

my buddy has 6k kit and i have 6k kit, whitch is very white with hint of blue. his is whiter and mine is bluer. 6k kinda floats between 5k and 8k. its never the same every time yoou get a set as another 6k kit. each is unique. if your going with the whitest possible get 5k. thats the whitest possible, it may(keyword) may have a slight tingde of blue but more likely it will be so bright itl be impossible to see it if your looking at the headlight. the one way to tell the exact color is by the reflection on a white reflectible sign like a speed limit sign. basiccaly go with 5k. lol

the only thing you need is a high/low kit. you dont need any extra stuff with the kit as long as its going on a cobalt. otherwise if its another car im not sure. 35watt is plenty bright trust me i can literally see about two football feilds in front of me on a flat road with my brights on and about a football feild with my low's on. so i woould go with the 5k high/low 35 watt hid kit by ddm and call it a day. now if you want ass bright lol go with the 6k and 55 watt high low kit. maybe even 8k kit. bc 8k looks about 6k and 6 k looks about 4 to 5 k on the 55watt kit.

Honestly, I would go with a 35 watt 5k for the whitest white. But you would need to call the manufacturer you are buying from and see what the suggest because as said above... every brand and set is different.
