HID's Installed = Question?

I installed the HID's in my projectors and I think got them aimed. Somebody who has done this let me know if it looks right. They look a little high on the garage door, but i think that it is because my driveway is on a small incline. Anyway all I want to know is if my cutoff looks right.

I went with Uneek's kit, 8k's. I took the picture before it was completely dark outside and since I can't figure out how to shut off the flash on my camera it also went off. They actually look a lot brighter in person and compared to the stock lights there at least 2x brighter, everything along the road is much more clear than before as well. I kinda wish I'd gone with 6k's but these are brighter than I expected so no regrets.

Nice!

Get pictures of them on your car. But it looks good. The right one looks higher than the left one though.

I tried adjust them so they were even but that line stays there. Even when I pull up close to the garage door and can see the two lights seperated from one another they both look like that and then when I back away and can see them together that offset line is still there. So unless someone on here knows something I don't I guess it's staying for now. i'll get pics and post em up as soon as I have the chance, the cars in the garage for the night warming up so I can put my Interceptor in tomorrow morning before work.

You're never gonna get them more even than that, mine are the same way. As long as they look good shining on the road, thats all that matters.

Well they definitely look good. I've got them aimed pretty decent, the road is much better lit than with the stock lights. Anyway, I'm happy with them and thats all that matters

Not true at all. The z-pattern accounts for that.

You should aim them like this:

- From 25' away, draw a horizontal line even with the center of your lights. Then draw a parallel line 3" below that line.

- Now draw a vertical line directly in front of the center of each light.

- Aim the lower corner of each z-pattern to hit the intersection of the 3" low horizontal line and the vertical line for each respective light.

That's it. So your wall would look something like this:

It's been a long day so I think I'm gonna need some sleep before that makes any sense to me Thanks though, I'm printing this off right now for reference cause mine doesn't look like that. Mine move together before I get to 20 feet from the garage door

Yours look close... but each beam should be aimed straight forward, not inward. I've heard also that you can aim 3" right of that vertical center line. Either way, you're pretty close.
