homemade eyelids

Hello all. I'd like to know if people here have eyelids on their Cobalt/G5? How did you guys make them?

I know that stg2cobalt have some homemade eyelids and I'd like to know if anybody knows how he made them.

Thank you very much...

Thanks DTM. I don't wanna use that kinda stuff cause i don't want it to be transparent. I also wanted to know if I want to to tint my tail lights, can I use window tinting film or it's just gonna fall down with rain and snow? Is it sticky enough not to be affected by rain? Or do i have to use nightshade tint spray for the tail lights?

You can use the film, I'm not sure how easy it will be to do, but you can use it. The Nightshades is much easier and will be dark, but like you said it is transparent and permanent. There are also tail light covers that you can buy. Cobalt Addiction has them, I may get them, they look pretty nice.

The film will fade?? What do u mean? It's not gonna stick for long? It's because if i use nightshade, i'll need to be very careful to put the same amount on each light. I don't want them to be different shades, one darker than the other...

Thanks mkulrey13...

As long as you put the same amount of coats on each light, you'll be fine.

Florida76, did you take off the lights to paint them?? Is it hard to take them off? So you have to adjust the lights after taking them off?

It's easy -- read your owners manual for the how-to.
