I've actually never seen someone do that before. I would probably pay the extra money for a hood that does the same. It does like like its fucked up but we've all cut corners for performance.

Everytime it rains I choose to put the covers on. They screw in with stainless screws and are made of fiberglass. They cover the vents well with virtually no water on the engine. Not that big of a deal.

i had a similar Siebon hood on my Evo8...looked like sh$t...mesh was crap and cheaply installed and worse yet, only saved like half a pound...i know our stock hoods aren't aluminum, but i'd rather stock any day over that POS...sorry, just my opinion...

Everyone has an opinion......good or bad. I won't loose any sleep over it!!! It does a great job cooling and it is light enough to lift with your pinky.

I for one looked at every aftermarket hood there is and cannot find one that doesnt look like ass and doesnt add too much attention or crappiness. I think the hood tilt is better than making your own hood scoops/vents. I think the jdm hood tilt is worth a try. I think hb/ss tc said it was productive. There is alot of I thinks, I will try the hood tilt tomorrow.. can someone pm me with where the washers go? sorry for those that think this is a crime against nature. To each there own.
