How To Change Your Halo's!
How To Change Your Halo's!
ok after being harrassed because my halo's are so freakin sweet i figured i would share an extremely easy way to change the color of your halo's.
step !1!
so step one buy pre wired LED'S.. here is my preferd seller he ships extremely fast and i've bought from him about 5 times now. each time the same result.
link to e-bay seller
and this is the exact product i used
http://cgi.ebay.com/20x-Blue-LED-Lam...QQcmdZViewItem
purchase the 12v prewired led. this comes with the resistor already built in.. this should run on both 9v and 12v.
the led's should look exactly like this.

step !2!
ok now your in order to change out your halos you have to take the head lights out of your car.. "go do it!"
step !3!
ok. there is a large rubber gasket under you headlights pull this gasket out you'll see that there are 2 wires running into it. thats where the led's are for you're halo's you may have a tough time pulling the led's out i know i did.
step !4!
now there is a rubber plug that the led is stuck into.your going to want to pull that led unit out.

" advice"-------- keep your old led's just incase you get pulled over. you can swap them out and go to court to get the ticket dropped.
step !5!
thread them together like so. then thread them though the rubber plug. splice the red to the red and the black to the black. then splice them to the headlight housing.."existing led wires"
step !6!
tuck it back in and re install you halo's...

after

i will post more pictures on a later time were currently getting 14 inches of snow and my garage/workshop/barn is a foot ball field away.
pictures will be up in the next 24-36 hrs

I cannot wait to see pictures.
I'm seriously considering making a huge purchase from these people for halo, taillight, reverse light, side marker, and interior LEDs. This is all pending on how good and bright yours look...
Can you maybe post pics of the halo's brightness before and after the LED swap?
