How did you install your Gen4's?
Hey guys, I gotten the Depo Gen4's and put them on. I did the simple way of taking the stock headlights off and put new headlights on. When I put the Depo's in, I notice there is a gap between the headlight and the bumper, and see the two tabs are not hooked underneath the bracket, unless you take the brackout out, it fits in perfectly. Did you guys run into this kind of issue? Because I feel like I have to rip the bumper off and put it back on just for the tabs to fit in right.

I tried that, not trying to break anything. I'm gonna to take the top tabs off and try to wiggle them in.

did you pop off the 4 push fasteners from the top of the fascia? the ones that fasten to front bumper cover to the frame?
if you take those 4 off you can just pull the whole fascia forward and it gives you a lot of room to screw with the light.

that's what I'm going to do tomorrow after work. the guy that I talked to in the other forum said he used pair of pliers to bend the bracket a little to get the the tabs from lights to slide in, including pulling the fascia back to have some room to work with.
if you are referijng to the passanger one you must push HARD. the light will snap into place.
my passanger one was harder to put in and harder to take out than my driver one
it was the same way installing in my friends car too
hope this helps

yeah it did. was kind of worried about screwing in the ends to snap or something, but got them to fit. Got no gap or no edge hanging before. They fit now like OEM. The driver side looks like I got one tab, not slided in correctly, but it looks fine then it did before. Already installed the HID's from DDM, and I could see that clean cut off line. Need to aim my headlights, because they look kind of low.
