i have the ballast plugged into the headlight power.. but the HIDs dont turn on.
ive checked all wires to make sure they were connected... but still no light. to check to see if i had bad ballast, i hooked my fog lamp power to the ballast.

they HIDs fired right up.

i think my headlight wires just dont have enough juice to fire the HIDs up

is there anyway to make them pump more juice?

im not sure if you have to do it on your kit or not, but on my fog light bulbs, the connector going into the ballast had to be flipped upside down... the left wire is now on the right, and the right on the left...

i have a supercharged SS, not turbo, and all the fuses were in tact (checked with a meter)

last night at about 1:30am.. i woke up and had the sudden urge to work on the headlights.. so.. i got the headlights removed and the brackets taken off then i realized the lil plus sign on the top of the power plug...

AND
the negative wire was in the positive slot -_-
so i made a stoopid mistake.

the HIDs fired right up and i had bright pink color filling my garage
