how do i remove low beam in 2nd gen headlight?

trying to figure out how to remove the low beam, seems like 3 offset hard to reach screws under the rubber seal piece on the back. there is also 2 screws on the back of the assembly holding in some sort of spring or ground to the positive and ground wires back their. Heres pics, hopefully some1 with these lights threw some HID's in their and will grace me with their knowlege

bump, comeon, some1 has to have change the bulb in one of these

its spring loaded, you have to push down on the metal wire and slide it to the side. then it will swing open. remove the wires first.

no, you unscrew both screws a little bit (loosen them up). There is a metal clip that can be free'd once you unscrew both screws a little bit. The bulb will come out easily then.

troof. I have Gen 1's, and the bulb type is the same. Two screws holding in a metal clip that holds the bulb in place.

Shouldnt be necessary to unscrew it... from the pics it looks like one side is the hinge and the other is a clip. i could be wrong....

I agree, it's pretty standard halogen bulb retainer, same as they have used since I was a kid.
One end is the "hinge", push down on the other end and push it to the side to unhook it, it should then pivot back and allow you to pull the bulb straight out. Not a bad idea to unplug it first so you don't have to handle the glass itself.
