real carbon fiber looks amazing... That thing is a plastic piece of crap with a checkered pattern on it, not ever worth the 5 bucks.

Yes im well aware of that..i like the shape of it however and would consider buying one in just black and possibly painting it yellow. I feel this car (LS) Is just begging for a more aggressive look and it seems without buying a whole new hood this would be a start.

Too ricey for my tastes. Why bother with it if it serves absolutely no purpose?

its plastic, just cheap plastic, it will probably crack during the winter and flex to the point where any paint you put on it cracks within days... Save your money, you get what you pay for. The opening would look great, but just picture that whole thing just sitting on your hood, it would look stupid.

I'd rather save and get the whole hood, at least you know what you're getting. as far as the rice thing, i guess i just don't worry about that... i mean, i'm not gonna get a fart can and a neon green paint job, but i think each person just has their own taste, not rice or american... just my $0.02

non functional hoods are garbage

unless you were gonna mold that thing into your hood its gonna be ugly as **** just planted on top and if you're gonna mold it you might as well make it functional.

I vote no on this one.

You have just defined RICE... something that makes the car "look" like it should be faster but doesnt actually do anything...

also 16 bucks for shipping??? it said it was like 1 foot by 1 1/2 feet Thats not that big of a box sounds like they are tryin to make up some $$$ in the process tell them you want the real shipping price not their padded one

hey, lean over and see if you can kick yourself in the head, why don't you just go burn the money instead, you'd have the same result
