how do you remove the needle on the cluster to get to remove the faceplate? i managed to get the cluster dissassembled, but had to stop when i got to the neddles...i didnt know how to take them off, so i didnt **** with them, does anybody know how to remove them ,and how to put them back afterwads, if your wondering, i got some carbonfiber vinyl and im going to cover the cluster face with it, im gunna just make a cut out for where the number and lines r, need help

ps- i posted this here cuz i cant post questionson the how to section, and this really isnt a performance mod either, so since it is a ppearance one, i posted it here, thanks for any help

 

take something flat like a butter knife and get under them and gently work ur way around and then take and grab it and u may have to wiggle it a lil bit but it should just pop right off, the only hard part is getting them set right after lol make sure u remember where they are when u crank ur car up before removing them

 

i wouldent mess with it, they will never be back to normal if you take em off

 

ic so i should just leave them, also how do people install the aftermarket faceplates if they dotn come back on like they used too?
