How do you dry your car?

I have a black car and for the longest time come drying time at the wash i would cry.. but NOW I found the Leaf blower to work AMAZINGLY, dry the whole car off in about 10 mins with no marks

before you all tell me "oh the blower sucks stuff up and fires it at the car"

no... it doesnt, and I do it on pavement not gravel...

what do you guys use? cali car blade? sham? blower?

I use the same kind of blower that Pet Groomers use for drying off Dogs, it looks sort of like a portable vacuum cleaner, and you can use hot or cold air!!!

I wish I had shade, my driveway gets sun 24/7, I don't think it's possible to wash the car without water spots. I always go over the car after drying with quick detailer.

I take my car through a auto washer, its about $10, they debug it for me, clear coat, and wash my windows, and they have a HUGE blower at the exit that you drive through, so i just creep through for about 3 minutes and its dry.

Dehydrator Drying Towel by very lightly dabbing the water droplets that remain after flooding the car.

I always take the turbo nozzle off the hose and let the water run from the top of the car down so it eliminates all the small water drops and makes the water blanket off the car,
THEN I use an absorbing towel to get rid of the remaining water
and then a microfiber to get rid of any other spots

THENN I hit it with the meguiars ultimate quik detailer
and my white car has never been happier

I normally use car blades, my dad has gotten a few from shows, I'm unsure of the brands but they work great for most of the car. For the tight spots I just use a shammy. The leaf blower idea is good, I'll just convince my dad to pick one up he is always cleaning his car.

or if you have a compressor you could just use that to blow the water off
i prefer to use the water blanket and then shammy technique because there is alot of dirt and **** around where i wash my car, i dont want that blown onto the clearcoat

I've used a sham, it always leaves water though, the air compressor didnt work too well for me.

But yeah we just washed the Suburban and I convinced my dad to use the leaf blower and he was "blown away" by the results.... ahha? no? ok fine...

I generally use the California Water Blade. It seems to work well.

I use a leaf blower but it takes so long to dry that way. I obviously need a more powerful one.

Ditto.

When the Absorber first hit the market it was debued at the (IIRC?)1998 SEMA show;
My boss and some of the management team (of my then job) went;
I got one of the Absorbers they bought because they were bought as gifts for our customers, and mine was an extra one...

Since that first one, I haven't looked back.
