Hyperflash Fixes
Hyperflash Fixes
Real question here. I have researched and see most everyone wiring in heavy duty/grade load resistors when they go to LEDs in turn signals and tails... What I'm wondering is if anyone knows of a more traditional (less wiring harness intrusive?) way of fixing it. In my other car I just had to change out the flasher relay for a newer style.. Or are newer cars all electronic in terms of turn signal timing/detection? Any info is appreciated, I can cut my harness no problem, I just want to avoid it if possible!
If you want to add resistors without messing with the factory wiring, hit up a scrapyard and grab the rectangular plugs from a set of lights there. You can cut off the wires leaving some wire on both sides of the plugs, then unplug the two halves and splice the wires into each other and splice the resistor into this section of wires. Then all you do is plug one end into the car's harness and the other into your headlight and you'll have no more hyperflash without physically cutting into your own wiring.
