the high rse spoiler I bought was on a cobalt SS before and it has 4 bolts each side, while my stock low rise has 2 each side. I didnt try to bolt it on yet (its freezing outside) but Im wondering if anyone else had this problem and will it be ok if I only bolt 2 of the 4 each side? I really dont want to drill holes in my car.

I am thinking that may be an aftermarket spoiler. When I had my lowrise taken off, the bottom of the support towers were painted, and the fact that it has 4 bolts on each side instead of 2. Just my thinking. I don't know for sure.
Also, when you try to bolt it up, won't the studs you don't use just sit on the trunk lid as they don't have holes to fit in to?

thats deff. aftermarket, the feet are narrower on that one. I had a low rise on my SS and swapped it for a highrise and also got my G/F a highrise, and they both bolted up to each car with 2 studs on each side.
Yes as well, the studs will interfere as theres nothing to fall into
best thing to do here is either..
A) try to sell it to some shmuck and get a real highrise
B) IF two sets of holes DO line up, dremel/chop/Grind off the other studs so it sits flush, two bolts should be MORE than enough to hold that, its not a 5FT aluminum plane wing or anything
DO NO drill into your decklid... leave that to the pro's, you'll most likely end up with a rusty mess in a few years.

dude everyone's telling you thats NOT a legit SS spoiler. Maybe the previous owner drilled holes
check this thread out

that owner put an SS spoiler on his cruze, scroll down and look at the holes drilled in his trunk, I dont see 4 on each side... I see 2
I also HAD an '06 SS.. and it didn't have 4 holes in the decklid...

I have an o6 ss. And removed my hi rise off my o6 trunk when someone dented it to mount it on an o9 trunk with low rise. It was bolt on. 2 studs each side. Urs was aftermarket ... Maybe the car was in an accident and they ordered an aftermarket wing?

why does this shiit always happen to me. I measured the bolt distance compared to the holes in my trunk and the inner ones looks like they willl fit. I just need to find a good double sided adhesive...
the inside holes line up with my trunk, I just measured them. Im gonna go ahead and bolt these on. I need good adhesive between the spoiler and my car, any ideas what I should use?
