I am wondering if anybody out here has or can get me a lens for my headlight on my 07 g5, passenger side...? or if i can get both sides?

 

probably easier to find a whole headlight

Yeah it would be but I painted the inside of my headlights to match my car... We were putting them back together and my friend used brake cleaner to get off the left over silicon...

Why the hell did he use brake cleaner? The only thing worse than using that is Methylene Chloride ("Aircraft Remover").

Plus, if you get brake cleaner on the paint, it'll eat it.

Anyways, you're better off buying a whole headlight. Nobody sells the lens separately. Hit up eBay... LKQ usually has Cobalt headlights on there (There is no difference between the G5 and Balt on the headlights). You can go ahead and buy any OE housing for 05-09... the 05's and 06's you'll just need to pop out the little reflector over the amber marker.

Anyhow... if it isn't completely screwed (IE: Chemically Melted), you could try to wetsand the headlight with some 1000 grit sandpaper, then progress to 2000 Grit paper and then use a buffer with some polishing compound to remove the sanding marks.

 

well it was my buddie who thought he would help... i went to a junk yard down the road from me a bit and bought 2 new housings cuz my stock headlight lenes are tinted... im fixin everthing now and puttin em back together...

 

If you have the extra driver's side lens now, I'll take that off your hands.
